Other requirements:

You must be permanently employed. Weekly earners need to be permanently employed for at least the last twelve months. Contract workers can apply if their contract end date is greater than the loan term applied for or if they have open ended contracts. These workers will need to have been in the contract for a minimum of 6 months. Commission earners need a minimum of 6 months service.

You must earn a net salary of at least R1 500 per month. Commission or overtime earners need to have a basic greater than R1 500.
